Eucharistic Adoration – Sept. 27

This is an invitation to ALL PARISHIONERS to come to spend some time with the Lord in Eucharistic Adoration on Sunday, September 27, 2020.

The Blessed Sacrament will be exposed at the end of the 11:30 Sunday Mass, and our church will be open for private, silent prayer until 5 pm when we will pray Evening Prayer together as a community of faith.

This seems like an opportune time to place our needs, our burdens, and our thanksgiving before the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament – asking for His many graces that are available to us.

Prayers for family members, the sick, the dying; prayers for our Church; prayers for our Nation as we anticipate presidential elections; prayers in reparation for all who have suffered any form of abuse; prayers for those who are unemployed; the enduring COVID19 pandemic; for our Mansfield community; for welcome, love, and trust for people of every ethnic origin; and the list could go on. We need to bring them all to our Lord and ask for His guidance, His grace, His love!

Please mark your calendars for this date. I sincerely hope that there will be people throughout the afternoon offering prayers of petition and adoration! It would be unfortunate to miss this graced opportunity!

Sincerely in Christ,
Father Hite
